I LOVE this family. They are some of my very favorite people in the world, and I loved doing this session for them! We drove around for a bit trying to find a nice looking place to do them in the dead of winter and happened upon this nice little spot! The two little's loved having impromptu snowball fights and we had a blast! Here are just a few of my favorites from this day!

Welcome Home Hermana Jenkins

Last night was awesome! In every sense of the word. My little sister returned home from her mission in the Dominican Republic and our family could not be any happier than we are right now. She served just shy of 13 months, but we all know, through the spirit of God, that she has done in 13 months what the Lord wanted her to complete in 18. She is an example to me of enduring...she broke her back 7 months ago! She has two fractures in L5 of her spine, and so you can bet a doctor's appointment is scheduled the first of this week to get her on the path to healing. I know I would not have lasted 7 months in the mission field in that much pain, but she pushed through it. I'm grateful for her strength, example, and all she did to serve our Father in Heaven and His children in the Dominican. We had Rosemary of Rosemary Card Film & Photo come film a homecoming video for us, so we will post a link to that as soon as we get it! It was an awesome night, and we are excited for the weekend to hear stories and spend time all together!

Sam + Abby {Utah Wedding Photographer}

I'm lucky enough to be involved with an amazing local photography community. We all help each other, teach each other, and support each other through life's ups and downs, and this is how I met the amazing Nicole of Nicole Christiansen Photography. She is located down in Cedar City, UT so if any of you Southern Utah friends are looking for someone near you, go check her out! This handsome groom is her brother! She was their primary photographer but invited me along to second shoot so that she could be in the family pictures! I loved being able to meet her and help on this big day! We got some beautiful shots and it was a beautiful morning! I also got to meet Krissi of Krissi Cook Films and if you are looking for an amazing videographer for your big day...look no further! She has a heart of gold and the video from this wedding turned out beautiful! It was SO NICE to meet and work with both of you lovely ladies and meet Sam and Abby! Talk about a genuinely kind and happy couple. The whole morning was a big dance party and I haven't seen anyone rock out that much after getting married! Their life is going to be full of fun and I couldn't be happier for them! Thank you again Nicole for having me!
