Natalee Bridals

I have been dying to share Natalee's bridals with you for weeks, and now I finally can!!! She is now a married woman (woot! woot!) and her and Rylee's wedding was beautiful this past weekend!  I love my brides, and this lady is no exception.  I am so happy that she chose to have her bridals done here at Thanksgiving Point!  I've been secretly hoping to shoot there and I finally got to, and it did not disappoint! The plaza was gorgeous that night and looked even more stellar with this pretty lady there. Love you Natty!

Pretty Poppies

This little lady is the daughter of one of my favorite people in Cache Valley.  This princess's mom is one of the most giving and passionate mom's I've ever met.  She's a true mama bear through and through and there's no denying that she would do anything and everything for her babes...and she has an eye for styling this little chick.  I loved both of the dresses she brought for this session, but the neatest thing about the yellow dress is that it was worn by her grandmother!  Vintage dress on the most perfect little girl?...yes please.  I love every chance I have to hang out with this cute mama, and can you hardly believe how cute this little girl is?!  I die every time.  And these poppies...be still my heart.

Bret + Shay Bridals

To say we were worried about the weather for this session would be a slight understatement!  Remember that crazy snowstorm we had in April? Well, this session was the day after and we were so worried that the temple would be covered in snow and all the flowers would be dead...but it turned out SO beautiful!  We were so excited when we got there and it was everything Bret and Shay had hoped it would be! Him seeing her in her dress for the first time was so sweet.  Bret couldn't stop smiling, and why should he?  They love each other so much and you can tell by their smiles and the way they look at each other.  This is one of many reasons why I love photographing weddings.  Love is the real deal.

Rylee + Natalee Engagements

Meet Rylee and Natalee.  Two of my favorite people.  But then again, Nat has always been one of my favorite people.  I met her through my little sister, Jessica.  Jess and Nat were super great besties when they were in high school and when Nat started hanging at our house every once in a while it was so natural and easy that we have since called each other 'sis.'  I love this lady and because of her I've met Ry who is such a gentleman and treats my sissy like a true princess.  I really truly and honestly couldn't be happier for her and am so excited that they've found each other!

Natalee wanted green and canoes for their engagement session...only it was March and still dead outside...so we waited just a few more weeks until it was warmer, greener, and the canoes were available for us to use at this location!  They turned out PERFECT! I truly believe that my brides have the best ideas when it comes to their sessions and this one definitely proves it!  These two are tying the knot 1 week from today!!! I can hardly believe it is already here!  Their big day is sure to be one big party and I can't wait to be there!

Bret + Shay Engagements

Bret + Shay have been married just over one month now, and these blog posts are long past due! These two are awesome! Bret and I grew up in the same little town when we were kids. We went to school together, were in the same Sunday School class growing up, and even though our group of friends have grown up and moved to different places, we have a unique friendship where we all come back together whenever we can to catch up! I was so excited to hear about Bret and Shay's engagement and was even more thrilled when they asked me to be their photographer! Shay is SO GOOD for Bret, and I could not have ever imagined anyone better for him!
