Natalee Bridals

I have been dying to share Natalee's bridals with you for weeks, and now I finally can!!! She is now a married woman (woot! woot!) and her and Rylee's wedding was beautiful this past weekend!  I love my brides, and this lady is no exception.  I am so happy that she chose to have her bridals done here at Thanksgiving Point!  I've been secretly hoping to shoot there and I finally got to, and it did not disappoint! The plaza was gorgeous that night and looked even more stellar with this pretty lady there. Love you Natty!

Pretty Poppies

This little lady is the daughter of one of my favorite people in Cache Valley.  This princess's mom is one of the most giving and passionate mom's I've ever met.  She's a true mama bear through and through and there's no denying that she would do anything and everything for her babes...and she has an eye for styling this little chick.  I loved both of the dresses she brought for this session, but the neatest thing about the yellow dress is that it was worn by her grandmother!  Vintage dress on the most perfect little girl?...yes please.  I love every chance I have to hang out with this cute mama, and can you hardly believe how cute this little girl is?!  I die every time.  And these poppies...be still my heart.

Tom & Alex {Utah Engagement Photographer}

So I am still playing catch up and this post is LONG overdue, but it's a good time to share since these two lovebirds will be tying the knot tomorrow! Ahh, I can hardly contain my excitement for them!  Alex contacted me last November and it's been a long time coming for this day to finally arrive.  I have loved getting to know Alex and Tom and truly feel so lucky to play such a special part in their big day.  These two met after they graduated from high school...Alex went to Logan High School and Tom went to Sky View.  They had a mutual friend who introduced them that summer at the Cache County Fair, and after that, the rest was history.  They quickly became inseparable best friends and fell head over heels for each other.  Their relationship is a cute one to observe.  They truly get each other and don't have eyes for anyone else.

This session was an absolute blast!  We drove all around Cache Valley to get these shots, and the adventure it was!  Our rad blue Ford truck broke down on the hill and we had to push start it to get it going again...racing from one end of the valley to the other before the sunset...quick outfit changes...and lots of laughter in between...I don't think I could be more in love with this whole session.  Stay tuned for their formal session and wedding day posts coming up soon, but for now, enjoy these!

Walquist Family {Northern Utah Family Photographer}

It's been a long time since I last paid any attention to my poor blog here, but I'm back up and at it after enjoying my maternity leave after having our second little one.  I love being a mom and my two boys mean everything to me, and I am so grateful that with photography I can capture sweet photos of them growing up.  That is what I love about photography.  Capturing small moments in time that mean the most to me, and the most to you. I love that pictures truly do tell a story and can remind us of times past.  Life moves fast, and if we can capture a memory or a moment in our lives right now, we should.

This is what we did with the Walquist family...with one child going to college, one moving to Califiornia, and two having growing families of their own, it was time to remember life as it is right now!  I grew up with this family and Robyn was, and is, one of my very best friends.  These people are the epitome of kindness and love.  Every time you are around them, you feel special.  I truly love this family and loved meeting up with Mike and Debbie to capture this time in their family's life as they continue to grow.
